In a future era the Gideon Relics are all that remains of a once vastly reproduced and commonly accepted text used in the practice of salvation. These objects were once deliberately placed in the most public of places where the most private of moments were thought to occur. The forms, suspended in vacancy, stand as potent monuments yet they still seem to shrink in the surrounding abyss. Consumed by overwhelming mystery they beg us to ask a myriad of questions about their consumption and use. How were they perceived, employed, and with what frequency were they read if read at all.
